Pattern: Yin-type Jaundice with Spleen Yang Deficiency and Interior Cold

Key Symptoms: Yin-type jaundice with loss of appetite, lethargy, loose stools with undigested food and cold limbs.


Ingredients

Yin Chen Hao 3g
Bai Zhu 6g
Gan Jiang 1.5g
Zhi Fu Zi 1.5g
Rou Gui 0.9g
Zhi Gan Cao 3g

Subsitutions:
In the UK Fu Zi must be substituted. The dosages of Gan Jiang and Rou Gui can be increased or other Yang tonics added depending on the presentation.


Preparation: Decoction


Actions: Warms and strengthens the Spleen, transforms Dampness, reduces jaundice.
